    She is a beautiful chicken, and really blends in with the fall colors, specially in the first pic

    That's probably one of the prettiest colored RIR's i've ever seen! Makes me want to get some chicks or buy some eggs, lol.

    she's not a production red is she?

    Um... I don't want to sound like a complete noob here (even though I am), but what is a 'production' chicken? Used for eggs or meat I would guess?

    I just caught her last weekend when she started visiting my yard and I began feeding her. She must have escaped from a nearby chicken farm... oh well, its their loss. [​IMG]

    As for right now, she is not laying eggs but we are hoping to get some out of her. She will certainly not be used for meat
