I love love looovvvee the auction!!
    I now have 41 chickens!
Am going to sell a couple of my birds that i already had though i think.

Anyway.. i just bought some.. spent $34 and got 9 birds [IMG]
I think one may turn out to be a rooster.. if so - back to the auction he goes!

I think most of my chickens are young.. because I'm only getting about 8 eggs a day..
I know forsure 5 of them that are laying.. not sure about the other 3 though

Group Scratch! I spread some hen scratch around and this is probably 3/4 of my chickens
    [IMG]

Silkie Cross - new today 10/2 only cost me$2!

The kiddie pool is for my ducks.
I had one bird drown the day after i got her..
and ALMOST lost my new big white one today, but I plucked her out - got splashed with realllly gross duck pond water though in the process.
We're going to be digging a big hole & getting nice flat rocks for the edges and making it a really nice big pond once our friend drops off the bobcat. until then, they have a kiddie pool to swim in.

    Beautiful chickens!!!

As far as the four that you are wondering whether or not they're roos... Pics #2 and #3 (of the four possible roos) I'm 100% sure are roosters. If you were to get some more pics of #1 and #4 I may be able to tell you their gender now, so that you can save on feed. [IMG]

Hmmm.... Pic #1 is a rooster.
Pics #2 & #3 is hard to say, 'cause it's in the shadows (I don't think it's the same bird as the previous #4?).
Pics #4 & #5 look to be a pullet, depending on the age (if she's four months or older=pullet).
