I had to share this. The're so full of personality.
I put them in the coop with heat yesterday and would you believe its snowing now. At least that is more insulation than wind and rain would be, the temp is 32. It was a toasty 55 in the coop when I checked this am. They are up running all over the place. I took them down a plate with some scrambeled egg, oatmeal and chopped greens on it. They devowed it. this snow is to last until tomorrow. It is so pretty , say a prayer it does not turn to ice and the power go out. Jean

You just can't help but love the BOs. And yours look lovely!! Dear Great One, thank you for snow but please no ice cause Jean is tired of beep-beeps and the smell. Thanks for the cute pic! Claudia
 
Who would ever have thought I would fall in love with a bunch of chickens! My hb still just shakes his head and smiles. Already I can barely wait till spring to get some of speckeld hens delawares and maybe a few blue orps too. We live within driving distance of each other. Cyn are you out there. jean
