This is Nima, my female Cape Teal. Taji is the name of the male, her mate. They are really pretty little ducks. I purchased these when I ordered a new ringed teal to replace the female that was taken by the hawk.
Anyone else have Capes? I think I have fallen in love with the teals and all of the many colors they come in. Hmmmmm, Cinnamon teal next?

[IMG] I'm glad for you that you got your teal and a replacement hen. Wish i had a pair, but i ordered some normal white cheeked pintails instead.

Cinnamon or *ahem* Hottentots should be your next pair! [IMG]

I have looked at Hottentots, I think they are just lovely but the breeders that I got my teals from have really high prices. What do you charge for a pair? Why are they pricey? I'm sure there is a good reason. When I move, my enclosure will be set up for several more different teals. [IMG]
