Very pretty chicks. I love the butter/gold colors. I'm thinking we might have to get some.

crtrlovr Still chillin' with my peeps

It's hard NOT to love Orpies... mine are so sweet, and I could (and sometimes do!) spend hours just watching them go about their day, being chickies... I also love my RIRs (7), BRs(2) , SLWs (2), Austrlorps (7), and guineas (2). Feelin' the need for some other varieties, or maybe some bantams ... [IMG] [IMG]

Shellie, it was great to meet you and your family today. Glad to see the orps are home safe and snuggly in their brooders. Your pics are great..thanks for sharing. [IMG] Feel free to keep in touch and let me know when you're ready for turkeys. [IMG]

I think I will take you up on that offer. Your pics are amazing..I have no talent with a camera and the flash always ruins the beautiful golden color. Are you sure you don't mind? Those first two pics are wonderful. Thank you!

Yeah my Orps (six hen, two roo) are six weeks now. They are getting feathered, and look really pretty (hens do at least). I have two roos, still deciding on which to get rid of.

    I also have seven Australorps.
