So I'm downsizing my flock to pullets or younger and ornamentals.
I'm looking for peoples opinions on what layers I'm currently thinking if getting.

    Ameracauna:
    a.Currently have 5 hens
    b. Want 4 more hens and 1 rooster

    Silver Spangled Hamburg:
    a. Want 9 hens 1 rooster

    Black Australorp:
    a. Want 9 hens 1 rooster

    Red Star:
    a. Have 4 hens
    b. Want 5 hens 1 rooster

    Whiting True Blue:
    a. Want 9 hens 1 rooster

    Silver Laced Wyandotte:
    a. Have 2 Hens
    b. want 3 Hens 1 rooster

    Barred Plymouth Rock:
    a. Have 2 Hens
    b. Want 2 more hens

As you can see I would have 60 all together adding up to 54 hens 6 roosters. And I would keep my 2 year old Chantecler Rooster.
And then I would also get some more silkies and frizzles.
I have the space, they free range all day from Sun up to Sun down even in the winter.
I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions for maybe getting a different breed instead of one of the ones I'm thinking about. Or any other considerations I should take into mind

No just for chicken egg production, and showing but people want me to hatch out eggs for them but I would like to be able to offer purebred chicks too since right now I only have a chantecler rooster. So I choose all egg colors and have 1 rooster for each breed but the barred rocks

Yes I have breeding pens[IMG] I used to raise state champion rabbits so I have lots of outdoor and enclosed runs along with very large rabbit cages that could easily fit 5 chickens with roosting space. And my dad is building me a shed for hatching chicks with an incubator, broody hens, and breeding pens
