My chicks are in, I got the call from the feed store at 8:30 this morning! [IMG]

I can't pick them up until after I get out of work at 4:30. [IMG]

I keep checking the clock every 5 minutes, but this day is dragging! It's not like I can focus on work anyway thinking about those fuzzy butts! [IMG]

Just had to vent with people who would understand..... my brooder is ready and waiting for some chicks!

Thanks! I am glad they came in right before the weekend, or I'd be worried about leaving home alone all day at first!

I kind feel like I did when I had my first labor pains with my daughter the last day or so- double checking the brooder temp and setup, making sure I have everything I need on hand and everything in the car ready to go. LOL!

I'd get a horrendous stomach and go home sick. Pick up those chicks asap!

Quote:Yes! Think up some way to get out of there early! Your chicks need you! [IMG] I sooooo relate to this. I come home from work and it is so nice to go out to the coop and hang for a while. Very relaxing. I have a couple of chickens who just talk their heads off and we share how our day has gone. [IMG] Post pictures when you can! [IMG]

You went to the dentist this morning? Excellent. Tell the boss the pain medication has worn off, and you are in pain. Vomit if you have to.
