I am getting 12 hens tomorrow after work. Lady a few miles away is selling them at 12 weeks old.

    Here is the pending flock:

    6 - Isa browns
    4 - Barred Rocks
    2 - Black Australorp

Hope they enjoy their new home. Coop is finished and stocked with food and water. Just finished the 10x30 run tonight.

That's a good variety! I got my first girls at six weeks which was great because we could put them right outside. I got my second girls at one week old. Chickens are fun at all ages.

Don't know if I will name them individually. I'll probably just refer to them as "the girls".

I currently have 9 dogs and naming them was a chore.

I don't even name my fish anymore :)

I'll post picts later today or tomorrow.

Ok. They are all in their new home and seem to be adapting nicely.
