Here is little Dash, she didnt do that to the peony bush all by herself, the big girls did that when they were growing up. In a couple of pics, she is just peeking thru the leaves so you have to look closely, she is such a character and she is beginning to have a few lights switch on upstairs even! Guess her lil head was too small to harbor a brain in the beginning! [IMG]

I LOVE this pic, it looks like she is hiding behind the leaves cuz her neck is "naked". lol

adorable but I have a question that is OT.,..
...I can not for the life of me figure out why my peonie bush (and tree) refuse to flower [IMG]

Dash is so cute, and what a great name. I like your pics.

OT on peonies: usually the reason peonies don't flower is because their crown is planted too deep. If they've flowered before, it could be they didn't get enough sun this year because of nearby growing shrubbery or trees, or they are taking a year off.

Thank you so much for that tip...I shall look and see if they are too deep then (and yes we also had a TERRIBLE summer this year in Holland)...

    Diana,

For some reason, mine didnt bloom this year either! [IMG]

(What a sorry state they are in, hmm?) Poor things. They were just beginning to look full and beautiful this year, pre-chickens that is.
