I will be ordering some in the spring. I'd love to see others that have ordered from Meyer?
My EE PolyEster from this past spring from Meyer
Penelope another EE from Meyer
This is Leroy - my EE pullet - ordered from Meyer in September - turned out to be a cockerel instead. I still love him, although I'll probably end up re-homing him since I don't want to breed EEs. I have another one that is definitely a pullet - but it looks just like "Penelope" in the previous post.
How about Derp? https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=563302
Thanks! They are beautiful! This will also be more of a "chance" for us. Almost all of our other birds were sex linked, I would hate to get a roo, but I guess that's the chance you take.
I have EE from Meyer, I ordered them last Sept (2010) They are great healthy, good assortment of colors, all lay blue / green eggs except one she lays pink, all have beards except one. I ordered 25 pullets got one male who is awesome, good w/ the hens, not people aggressive at all.
Here are some pics.
a couple of the group as chicks
another group shot a as pullets
I got two pure white, this is one
Oreo my boy w/ one of the ladies
Love her color / pattern
Skyfire, love her coloring the best of all, even though they are all beautiful
Oreo the boy
Chantilly my only girl w/o beard, but her coloring (which is awesome ) makes up for it.
another group shot
Sorry if that's to many, I have TONNNNNS of pics of them.
I got this hen from Meyer in 2010
