Here are the 3 babies I managed to hatch my first try. 2 of these are from Dipsey's eggs~~really strong little sweeties!

I just noticed today that the littlest fellow has 5 toes! What does that mean?

Dipsey do you think they might frizzle or is it too early to tell? I love them anyway they turn out!

So far they're getting along just fine with their huge buddy, Goldie. When I let them out of the brooder for play time they fly and jump at each other like mad. It's so funny!

Hi Becky! They are all cuties! Is Goldie the same age? She's so big

Bad news --- they are both smooth. And they both look like cockerels to me.
The extra toe is from the Silkie in their background. Some of the Frizzle girls are Cochin x Silkie crosses so that makes those chicks with extra toes and / or dark skin (Cochin x Silkie) X Cochin.

Thanks, Dipsey! I sort of thought they act a little rooish.

Goldie actually hatched out a day after your two. She came from Pidgey and is probably a wyandotte cross.
