    Heres some pics of my baby silkies! The black chick is an australorp silkie cross, but the rest are all pure breed [​IMG]

    Heres the brooder...

    The one towards the back we named Mika and the black chicks name is High Heals because she looks like shes walking on them [​IMG]

    The red silkies name is Slippers ( for her feathery feet ) she acts like the Momma to all the little babies she even puts them under her wing to keep them warm!! And the one in front of her is named Mudd..

    Nice little fuzzy gals/guys. Always go recycled and cheap- then you "feel" like you're coming out ahead on the cost of raising chickens... even though we all know we usually don't. [​IMG]
