So I'm new to this forum but thought that I would start by posting up the chicken coop. My husband drew up the plans and then built it. I supervised. Haha. Took him 1 day to build it. 2nd day he roofed it. We had it sitting on one side of the property and then decided that we wanted it by the garden. Luckily he's pretty good at construction because we moved it across the property with his truck and a logging chain. It made it all in one piece and we love it where it is now. When I pull stuff from the garden, I just give it to the chicks instead of hauling it to them. Enjoy!

Hey, hey! We don't mess around here on BYC! We want pics and we want them now, lol. Just teasing. Great coop! I love the green color and it looks like a very smart design. Kudos to hubby!

We actually had the french doors in our house replaced. That's one of the old ones. I'm not sure what my husband is doing with the dead bolt. However, the door knob locks. We actually keep it locked when we are not home because of the neighbor's kid. One day I came home and the door was wide open. Thank goodness it was when they were still little and we had them sectioned off on one side so they couldn't get out.
