The ones Ken built, by request:

This one is half done, due to running out of materials AND money.

This one is complete. Two levels and a hidey hole.

Do you have a catch tray for droppings? or Are your rabbits litter trained? I'm thinking I might need to make some of those lol

Nope it falls right out the bottom and Ken washes the concrete down with the hose every morning. Takes about 5 minutes. Then the goats come and eat it. [IMG] Gross but efficient. [IMG]

With 2.5 acres in the desert, we NEED them more than anything. No weeds in our yard!!!

Quote:We chose individual cages with wire bottoms for easier clean up. Those solid floors are STINKY! Rabbit poop isn't so bad, but the pee?? UGH!

I built these last year. I currently have them divided down the middle (they are 2x4, so currently 2x2 times 4)

And then I built these this year. 4 levels at 2x4 each, not divided.

The one on the left is the only one I bought as an actual hutch. The one on the right I built. I use the top as a chicken brooder and the bottom as a rabbit cage.

My neutered pet bunny and his girlfriend live in here. I built it last year as a chicken tractor. It has a 2x4 inside area with a 4x6 outside area.

I started this one but have never finished it.
