Thought I'd share some pics of some critters around the place.
I was stalking this owl in my canoe,he was trying to fish along the bank.

Cool little tree frog, I think? never seen one this color.

Catapillars cleaning up the day lillies that have died back.

the nutra rat begging for duck food.

Hey, that looks like the same tree frog that I brought home on a hydrangea(sp?) that I bought Saturday...I even asked if it cost extra with the frog, lol. Love your pics!

I envy you so much, living in LA... I miss the bayou and all the critters and plants that go with it so much. They are all so awesome and beautiful, it is one of my favorite ecosystems, and I just felt so at home down there. Thanks so much for sharing, and if you have anymore pics from out there I would love love love to see them

We have small black bears around this area,I've haven't seen one.Gotta have alot respect for the big animals.

They only thing that's big around here are the snakes.
