I posted a picture in a tread of an egg. I got a reply from that tread and my picture from Photobucket said it was deleted or moved. What would cause this. John

That's strange. Does your picture still show up when you go to Photobucket?

Was it your own picture? If so, if it was moved within photobucket or renamed, that would cause this message.

I deleted it from photobucket but I still have it in a chicken file on my computer. Once I posted that picture in that tread how could photobucket get at it to delete or move it? I thought only the mods had access to other peoples posts and treads. It was a picture of a OEGB egg someone ask for. The picture is on the 5th page of this tread.

I moved some pictures from one folder to another on photobucket once and then those pictures no longer showed on the threads I had posted them in.

Quote:Since you just said you deleted it that is the answer to your question.

Having it on your machine doesn't let everyone see it. You have to put it back on photobucket and relink it to.

I won't have that problem again. Pics go from my computer straight to BYC. Thanks everyone for the answers. John

This is why we like it when people use BYC image hosting and then don't delete their images.

BTW, we're going to start requiring members to host their images with BYC when submitting their pages to coop contests, etc. Too often stuff happens with photobucket that causes images to stop loading.
