This is a 3 and a half month old that has had me wondering for a while. Got red pretty quick, last part of last month. Now, it's huge. I think I know. :( I wanted a pullet. A lot of photos, this one didn't want me around!

I'm not seeing saddle feathers..there is no crow yet. Still pretty young, but starting to get a little bossy out there.

I am going to say cockerel...I see sickle feathers in his tail, and he has a rooish attitude.

    Pretty boy!

(I am not 100% sure but if he were mine I would say I am sure because of the sickle feathers.)

He's a cockerel. Hope you can have a rooster because he's going to be a beauty. No saddle feathers yet, but hackle and tail feathers and early comb development indicate male.

I can't have roosters, but I want to find a place that wants a beautiful splash boy. I think the gal I got the eggs from may want him back. Sure going to ask! Thank you!

  5. Cockerel!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going to say he is pretty much 99% rooster, those sickle feathers are very predominant.

He is going to be gorgeous.

LOL...I think I knew. Too big for a 3 and half month old pullet, and too red, and that tail..oh that tail. [IMG]
