    Maybe all peacocks in the nature are hybrids

    Nice pictures. I can't tell the difference because their wing coverts are very similar (having the blue outline). Wasn't the java supposed to not have the blue outline?

    Really wonderful pictures, it is a rare treat to see how they look in their native habitat.
    These pictures make me wonder if they are used to having people around even though they are wild; they must attract a lot of attention!

    Yea everything i read about green blood kept me from persuing them because it is said they can not be free ranged and are wild but that does not seem to be the case from looking at some of the wonderful photos i have seen here lately.

    Really? I didn't know about them not being able to free range. I learned something new. I love the colors. That is my dream pea! :love

    Do we have any BYC'ers that have this type of pea?

    Not that i know of, i mean i don't know anyone that raised some up and turned them loose and created a bond with them like i have with my peas.
    They were naughtey today chasing something in the ditch that runs along the driveway that leads to the main road but i caught them and we walked back home togeather .
