    Here are some pictures of my chicks from breeding my white rock rooster to my splash hens.

    In the front is a lavender orpington and black split.

    Nice. If you got all blues then that means that your White Rock rooster is masking black under his recessive white. Nice looking chicks and thanks for posting the pics. [​IMG]

    So, if I breed my splash faverolle roo to white girls, are the chicks all blue??

    Well that depends if the hens are recessive white or dominate.

    Quote:Right, it is going to depend on if it is dom or rec white. If these are White Fav hens we are talking about, then I would think they are going to be recessive white and probably masking salmon, so you would probably get blue salmon or maybe just blue if it is masking black or something.

    I will be crossing these hens with a splash rooster. So I should get blue and splash. When I breed them to my white rooster I should get all blue. Also hope to get yellow legs in the next generation.

    breeding those blue hens to the white roo would give blues and blacks if the roo is masking black.
