Pictures of first day outside in the sun...one week old today

    It's about 75 degrees outside so I figured they could handle about 20 minutes outside to have some fun and learn how to be weed-eating chickens [​IMG]

    They did ALL the chicken behaviors, they ate bugs, one RIR took a dust bath, they ate the weed seedlings (at least a few of them), they scratched and pecked and scratched and tested everything.

    We got 70 degrees today. It's rough in sunny california [​IMG]
    It is so entertaining to watch those little ones explore and discover. Who needs TV.
    I can hardly wait to get ours. [​IMG]

    so cute! love that dust bath shot. mine just went outside for the first time (at 4 weeks) last weekend, and they loved that California sunshine.
