The pics are all great....but the one second from last would look good on the cover of Backyard poultry [IMG]

    [IMG] was the dirt wet?

I threw a bucket full of dirt in my girls run - it was damp and they were all fluffing around in it [IMG] silly chickens!

  6. I know, doesn't look like we had any rain here where I live. My dirt is unfortunately sand. Really fine, powdery kind of stuff. Water doesn't stay for long and goes right through. At least the hens had fun !!!!

[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG] is that little one a oegb?

  8. Yes, that little on is an OEGB. I got her and the black giant as chicks. They grew up together. I later added them to the older hens. It took a while with the pecking order. I watched them constantly so she wouldn't get hurt . They picked on her a slight bit, not much though. Mostly pushing her around but they all get along fabulous now. And the OEGB she is such a baby. lol
If it was possible for me to carry her around all day, she'd let me..lol
