    Our coop is still not done, so I still have 7 week old chicks in my spare room in the basement. So here they are out in their playpen for some fun time while I clean the big brooder, yet again....

    I'm moving this playpen and the chicks to our unfinished coop this weekend, it's a 10'x10' shed, so it's closed in enough that they can stay there in their playpen for now.

    So cute! You have brought back fond memories of having young pullets. Now I with I could have some! They are so fun. (Not that my current gals aren't absolutely amazing.)

    Look how clean those legs are! Are these the chicks we were all excited about because you couldn't pick them up until after work?
