My favorite BO was taken by a critter when she was left out of her coop. I had no idea she had been let out, it was the one night I didn't go out to do a head count of everyone...I felt so guilty for that. I loved this hen. Anywho I had eggs she had laid and put them in the bator. Two of them hatched out and I was SO happy. I had put them under a big fat BR hen and they were doing fine until the other night the hen must have suffocated one of the chicks because I found it dead in the nest during a morning feeding. So now I have this one chick and she gets all my attention. I hope its a her at least because I have already named her Elsa.
