Now I guess an explanation would be in order
We live in the Verde Valley of AZ and across the river from us about 8 minutes away is the wildlife park "Out of Africa"
These are just a few of the residents. The animals are well taken care of, and many are "rescues" such as the 4000 lb. white rhino (not shown).
If you come to AZ plan on visiting the park. They have a great "tiger splash" show.
And you probably noticed the white tiger. They are very quick to explain that the "white" tiger is NOT a breed but the result of much inbreeding and therefore they have many problems such as clef palette, short life span, disk disease and on and on. This one was another rescue and lives with the black panther.
They have tiger cubs living with grizzly cubs and other such mixes.
All the people that work there have degrees in some sort of animal science or working towards one.
It's a nice place to visit.
