    Better put alarms on your brooder box cuz I'm commin' to steal them!

    They are sooooo cute!

    How do you know the cochin is mottled? I have one that was told is blue, but the first row of wing feathers to come in are white then the second row is black.

    Thanks! No I don't have the Orloff parents, these are my first, but I did get them from a BYC member! (Carole AM)
    The mottled cochin-- I guess I really don't know if they are mottled yet or not, bought mottled cochin hatching eggs but they can be black, blue or splash also, right? So far these babies are black/yellow and blue/yellow--- have to wait and see!
    Next year I will have Orloffs, Salmon Faverolles, Silkies, Spitzhauben, Sumatras, and others -- counting my chickens before they are hatched! assuming I have both sexes of each breed! [​IMG]
