Tomorrow the local feedstore guy is getting an assortment of chicks from Privett, it says on the website there will be some meat birds in the mix. I was wondering if anyone has a picture of what they might look like, the guy there is no help at all. Privett has pictures, but it is hard to really see anything.

I just bought a black broiler she's 2 weeks old. the have a face that is spotted black and white, just like a little penguin. If you see that face you'll know what i'm talking about and they it is indeed a black broiler.

Hmm I have black broilers arriving this week from Ideal. They look very similar to australorp's crossed with sumo wrestlers, LOL, at least in the pictures.

The ones on their website didn't have any black on the face but I guess I will find out in a few days. They were just heavy build (like CX) but solid black with red combs.
