It's not too bad out there today- temp is at least above 30! So I went out and did a bunch of stuff that needed to be done. Shoveled some of the soiled bedding out of the coop and added fresh shavings, gave the poop board a good scrape and wash, and shoveled out a bit more of the run for the flock. Stood there watching them scratch and peck around for a few minutes, and snapped a few pictures.

They do enjoy digging the BOSS and peanuts out of the hay! And they are getting a new toy tomorrow! Yes, I will take pictures! LOL

Really it's not that bad. I'm not fond of below zero temps, and we've had just about enough of this snow stuff, but winter happens, and you deal with it. Tho I can do without ice on the roads and power outages, for sure!
