That is all. Now, I have to get dressed and run into town to buy a new one.
I hear ya, speckledhen, my iron is making a weird noise at times. My Ott lamp went out the other day and since I bought it about 2005, screw in bulbs (twisty thingamajigs) replaced my plug-in bulb. I went to four stores and finally had to order it from the Ott company over the internet. That is my only source in the future. Still, I love that lamp.
BTW, what are you piecing? Have you posted a pic and I missed it?
Boy, what a let down. Here you are with your craft on and now you have to run to town. What a bummer
At least your hubby didn't wax snowboards with it.

I got a new one. Seems okay and didn't cost that much. Got it at ACE hardware and accidentally, found out that they now carry the chicken feed I use and it's at a lower price than the co-op! Yippeeeee!!!
For me, get dressed means to change from the men's gym shorts to some longer, more dignified ones. I still wore the big, paint splattered short sleeved golf shirt, LOL.
I'm piecing this quilt top. A very sweet lady sent me the kit, complete with the pieces already cut out.
It is the day for breakdowns!
My foot pedal went out on me today.
I made a call tothe store where I have purchased most of my machines and they are putting a replacement in the mail tomorrow!
They said just drop the dead one into the store next time I am in Portland.
Now THAT'S service!
That's going to be one beautiful quilt.
