Hey, sorry I am not good at pigeons yet. I am trying to understand some of the things I've read, well okay, ALL of the things I've read.

First I'll explain what I have as a loft.

    -56"wide,24"deep, and 28"high.
-Plywood floor chicken wire on the side that is open
-Both 24" sides are closed as is the back, the front has a 16" door and then is open
-I plan to get a pigeon door, this one actually http://www.jedds.com/-strse-658/JIMBO-TRAP-w-fdsh--LANDING/Detail.bok
loft is in the upper rear part of the chicken coop. I am planning to put the pigeon door where they don't have to be in the coop or the run.

I still have no clue if any of this is okay or ideal. Also I don't know what I'm going to need for their nest, the food and water bowls, or what they need to eat. I was reading about mixing layer pellets and wild bird mix together and feeding that. And pigeon grit....

I am open to learn ANY & EVERYthing. I'm an open book [IMG]
