Pigeon Problem

This may sound kind of silly, but we have a major problem with pigeons. How could I scare them away? They come close to the house, like, right against the house and eat the chicken feed. My dad says he is going to shoot them, and I feel bad for them, so help please!!

u could try putting up one of those plastic owls.

If possible, make it so they can't get to your feed. You can also try to find a trapper. They don't always exterminate them, but may relocate them. Of course, they may come back.

A hawk is the only way to get rid of pigeons.

You can shoot them or trap them.

Nothing else is going to work

you can try and find one of those kites that looks like a hawk and tie it on a long pole (only works if you live in a windy area....

they are very easy to trap ....but get a trap made for pigeons.....then you can even sell them for a few dollars each. The trap not that hard to make.....

remember anything like fake hawk of those owls, that scare pigeon will also scare your chicken or birds. JFYI
