Well I got back in town Sunday night and there were a pile of feathers from one of my leghorns inside the run. they are free range birds and I could only find 5 out of the 7 last night and they were all roosting in a holly bush instead of the normal coop. I go to feed them this morning and they are all there. anyone have any idea what happened?

    Sorry about your birds.

What ever it was, it will be back. Set some traps if you have them, lock up your birds until you catch it or them.

well I went out this morning and they were all there, but now they are wanting to roost in bushes, sides of the deck, anywhere except the coop. I think something got in there but not sure what. its fenced in with a roof with a small entrance so i doubt it was a hawk. what else?
