I had my first pip today which is day 19 for my clutch. I noticed the pipping about 2 hours ago. How long does it typically take to see progress or hatch from this point. I am a worried/impatient momma hen at this point :)

It typically takes 12 to 18 hours after pipping but can take a lot longer. Since it is just day 19 I wouldn't be surprised if it took a day and a half. This is where it is mighty hard to have patience. So just go to bed and hopefully you'll have a chick tomorrow![IMG]

My incubator recommend 55 to 65% for hatching. So you're perfect!

Wonderful! How many eggs do you have in the incubator?

Sounds like you might have a good hatch. [IMG]

I have 27 fertile eggs in the incubator due to hatch next Monday. Can't wait!
