I only have a rooster, But this is a great guide. Everything lines up with my Roo,
And I understand the sickle feathers.
The problem is, my silkie has a single comb!
When I get more silkies, I will definitely use this!

So the hard feathers (tail feathers?) are in a upside down U shape? Or the soft feather are in a upside down U shape around the hard feathers?
