We puchased plastic chicken wire fencing for our small flock of four Rhode Island Reds and recently i found my chickens outside the fence. I checked and found a hole had been cut in the plastic fencing, then a few days later in a different spot, I found my chickens out again...another hole! I don't believe chickens can chew through the black pvc fencing. does anyone know what could be making a chicken sized hole in my fencing? This stuff is really tough. I am afraid that something might be trying to get to the chickens. Hoakieman

    I doubt they "chewed" a hole.though

More likely they stuck their heads through and pushed a little and it tore apart.

Replace it with WIRE ASAP, before something kills all your birds
