Plastic run roofing material?

Hi!

I was thinking about using corrugated plastic roofing panels for the roof of my chicken run. Do you think this will be raccoon proof? I do have raccoons here so I am very worried about that! I don't think we have really any other predators here. Thanks so much!

I would use metal or fiberglass, plastic panels has been known to melt in the heat.

We have some already in our backyard and haven't melted. Do you know if the plastic one would be raccoon proof? I did find metal ones but no fiberglass on home depot's website. Do you think that metal might make it hotter? Thanks so much!

Well..... raccoons can chew thru chicken wire....not sure plastic would be a challenge.
Maybe use it for shedding rain but put a good mesh under it.
