Play sand for dust bath seems wet?! Pic posted

Before i use this stuff for a chicken dust bath, i wanted your opinion. Imo it seems a little wet….

It is too fine a sand and the tiny particles can cause respiratory problems. You should always use the coarsest grain sand that you can find for chicken dust baths.

Thank you for a quick response! So, if I go to home depot….. what exactly should I get?? So many choices!

I believe that all purpose sand is considered good, especially if you mix it with dirt, but you could probably ask an employee (unless your home depot is like ours and is always devoid of employees) to help you find the coarsest sand possible.
