Please advise when is lockdown for my duck eggs?

My eggs went in at 10 am on the 7th September.

When would you say lockdown is? The manual says 27-28 days to hatch. 3 days before is lockdown. But three days before 27 or 28 days? Also with the ones with saddled air cells should I still lay them on their side? If yes with the saddled part up or down? I'm getting anxious!

I'd count back from 28 days, making it day 25. It's not that critical. I've had eggs hatch fine, which I forgot to stop turning. Don't worry about the air cell position. Just lay the eggs in the hatching tray. Good luck!
