Brown Leghorns, Welsummers, Speckled Sussex, and what else ...all look like brown chipmunks.

How do you tell them a part??

Please tell me what to look for, leg colors, feather patterns, etc...show me pics of tiny chipmunks and what they turn into

I have 4 chicks that look this way and I need to know what they are before I sell off the ones I don't want.

    Thank you

Here are pictures of our chipmunks...I have to use my phone so not the best quality, but you can see them

Two on the right, left looks like an EE to me

EE's can also be chipmunk colored.

Yep, EE's too! Can you post pictures?? EE's generally have green legs and possibly fluffy cheeks!

My EE's started with yellow legs. and then started to darken as they got older.

Mine are a week old and in the big brooder in the garage..catching them is like trying to win a Gold Medal [IMG] They are by far some of the largest chicks we have..legs look pinkish to orange...

We actually have 6 different chipmunky chicks, but two are a tad different and probably EEs..but the others all have STRONG deep reddish brown strips down their backs with a white outline strip and their wing feathers are starting to come in a blue grey.

Here is a picture taken a few days ago & THESE are the chicks in question. I have 4 that look just like this one.

This one I am guessing is an EE

And this is when they first came in..if this helps any.

I just would really like to know what it is I should look for that will tell me what they are..

Yep, I know the EEs from the others...do you think that one chick up top I posted is a brown leghorn? If someone gives me a definite yes, then I know I have 4 of them and can sell off 3.

I would say that the 1st chick is a brown leghorn.

Quote:As soon as we opened the box my 14 year old son said..look at all the brown leghorns! Then I started seeing picture after picture of the same chicks..but they weren't brown leghorns...enough to make me batty. [IMG]
