    Hello my BYC family!

I feel so confident that you will help us identify this breed. We've been looking hard and not yet found it.

This chick is basically creamy yellow with light charcoal grey patches on head and shoulders; following these grey patches are smaller white patches.

My hubby continues googling, and thinks it might be a white orphington.

    Your help is much appreciated.

    Golden comets, if I'm correct.

    The chick kinda looks lavender....

Yep, Golden Sex Link is also known as Golden Comet. I'm not sure what your chick is, though, hopefully someone else will! [IMG]

These do not look like golden comets to me. I have had comets from 2 different hatcheries and none of mine had any gray on them. Always red.

Have you looked on www.feathersite.com? I've tried looking already but your chick doesn't really have any identifiable features (feathered legs, coloring, etc.) so it's hard to know what it is. You may just have to wait until it starts feathering out more. [IMG]
