please help a chick walking on their knees

    after a long day in the field , I got home at night yesterday, my wife told me that one of our chicks it seems have a problem with their legs and walking on their knees, physically their legs is Ok. but I don't know what happen to her.

    and she close her toes , anybody know anything about her problem.

    We have a hen that looks exactly like your chick. We got her when she was 16 weeks old, so it seemed that too much time had passed to help the problem. I wonder if hobbling might help (taping, splinting, etc)? Our hen still walks on her knees and has to be kept separately from the rest of the flock or she is picked on mercilessly. She is able to get around, but not very gracefully. Mostly she flaps her way around!

    Looks like she may have dislocated her joints there, I don't think hobbling would help, I'd be more inclined to splint them. [​IMG]
