What can I do to help it, please?
Here is a post on how to make the little "shoes" to help straighten the toes:
At the bottom of the page they have an illustration on how to bend the pipe cleaner...it's merely in the shape of how you want the foot to look and then you attach it to the toes and feet to help guide the toes into the normal pattern you want them to be in.
Wishing you and your chick luck!
Aww! poor baby
I'be tried the pipe cleaner and it didn't work well. Cardboard works the best with bandaids. You can cut them to shape the foot. Good luck
I just had the same problem a couple days ago!! But it is really easy to fix!! I just put a small piece of duct tape under his foot and separate the toes the right way!! Then I put another piece on top to keep them in place!! Its kindof like a little cast!! Mines feet were fixed in two days!!
Thanks, everyone! I put "shoes" on it.
I hope it can get around well enough.
I will be praying for that little baby!! He does have a pretty severe case
Good luck and keep us posted.
You should not have to leave them on longer then maybe 3 days.
The little chick is doing lots better today!!!!
