Hi I'm very new to chicken owning. This past weekend I was checking on my flock and I found one of my hens had something above her eye at first I thought that she just got in a fight. But then I looked again and saw there was foam in her eye too. However the foam has started to go away. I just am sacred that she is sick and don't know what it is. Please help!

You may be dealing with a respiratory disease such as MG or mycoplasma. If there is a bad odor, coryza could be the issue. Clean the eyes with saline, and apply Vetericyn eye was or eye gel, or Terramycin eye ointment. I would also use Tylan 50 or oxytetracycline to treat the symptoms. Here is a link about those and other respiratory diseases: http://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/ps044
