    Hi all!

I recently had to buy some sodium sulfamethazine for my two 6 week old chicks who had gotten coccidiosis from the persom who I bought them from on saturday. These chicks were in contact with two 4 month old pullets that i also just purchased on saturday. So i gave them a small dosage of the sulfamethazine just to be safe that they dont get infected aswell.... a few days after I had treated the birds I read the whole bottle and it said... contraindication: this product must not be used on laying birds [IMG]... But the pullets have not laid for me yet so would they be concidered laying birds?????? Please advise asap
