I ave to RI one week old chicks...one already has prominent tail feathers and larger wings...the other has no tail and small wings. I read conflicting advice..most say the ones that get tail feathers are hens...I need help please[IMG]

It is too young to determine the gender right now. Can you post more pictures once they are 4-6 weeks old? :)

If you're not allowed to have roosters then why on earth did you pick straight run chicks? Odds are that at least 50% are male. Even with buying sexed pullets, there is still a chance for a mis-sexed chick.
Options for any cockerels that you wind up with are to rehome them or eat them once they are about 14 to 16 weeks old. This is part of the reality of keeping chickens.

Although this doesn't always work, often with Rhode Island Reds the female chick's shoulders are red and have more red color overall than cockerels. It worked with sexing my five chicks.
