My grimmy goose is working on her first egg right now. Is already been over an hour of efforts on her part. How long does the push out usually take? She's an embden, and her girlfriend had already laid an egg when I came out to the barn this morning (atilla's second in three days)

    Should I be worried?

So no one has ever watched their geese lay an egg before. Cool. No worry, I delivered the stuck egg my own self. Thanks guys.

Noone reading your post that hour knew a qualified answer to your question. No reason to be sarcastic about that.

I have generally found people on this forum very helpful. And I find it equally helpful not having to scroll through several pages of "I don't knows".

I've watched an egg come out of my goose a couple of times. But I have no idea how long before the process started. My goose tends to sit on the nest for a couple of hours at a time. Sometimes that results in an egg, sometimes there's no egg.
