We got a pullet mix in the mail 4 weeks ago. These are my kids favorite three chicks. Can you help identify them and reassure me that they are girls.

#1 Goldie dd hopes it is a RIR

Look like girls to me. Not sure about breed, do you have a full body shot of each one? Your Australorp appears to have some barring, which would mean she's a barred rock. Domino may be a silver spangled hamburg. Goldie might be a RIR, but I need to see the wing feathers to make that determination.

I agree you Star has barring so I would say Barred Rock. Goldie looks like she could RIR but a side view would be great.

Goldie looks just like our 2 Red Star girls. The second looks like a Silver Laced Wyandotte maybe...

Goldie is a little more orange than my RIRs could be a gold star or maybe just a production red or just the way the light is hitting her. Domino definately has the silver laced or spangled pattern but I only have polish in that color so I can't help on breed. I think Star is a barred rock too. They are looking like very nice pullets [IMG]
