Hi there I purchased 5 fertile eggs to put under my two broody silkies. The person I purchased them from got them out of a pen full of mixed birds but he told me they were silkie eggs. 4 hatched 2 I am pretty sure are black silkies, the othee 2 I am unsure of. They all have feathered legs and they all have 5 toes. I know silkies are difficult to sex but was wondering if the other breeds have tell tale signs of sex early on?
