Over 1 months ago I purchased my first batch of newly hatched chicks, got a variety of 51 bantam chicks and 2 standard size chicks from Ideal Poultry. 6 died due to the stress of shipping, and of the 47 survivors I was able to correctly identify the breed and sex of most of the chicks, except for these 2. I had ordered 4 blue quail d'Anver chicks, but seems at least 2 may have been among the 6 casualties. Now that they are over 2 months old I know for sure 1 of the surviving chicks is a blue quail d'Anver pullet. Her color is a lot lighter than I expected, more of a buff or creamy beige with hints of light bluish gray.

So the chicks I need help identifying are these 2, which I think are cockerels:

This chick I don't know if he's a blue quail d'Anver cockerel with a single comb, or an Easter Egger cockerel. He has the color that I was expecting my blue quail d'Anver pullet to have.

This chick I think is an Easter Egger bantam, but not sure if it is a pullet or a cockerel. At first I thought it was a blue quail d'Anver pullet, because of having a flat, salmon color comb, and having a mild disposition, but I just recently noticed that the comb started looking a bit more bulbous, and saddle feathers (longer feathers near the base of the tail.

Chick 2 - Is it a blue quail d'Anver or an Easter Egger bantam? Is it a cockerel?

I had ordered 2 Easter Egger bantam chicks, and this is the only one I'm sure is an Easter Egger bantam, and that it is a cockerel, as his comb developed pretty early and it's red and bulbous.

Chick #1: I would say d'anver cockerel.
#2: it has a pea looking comb so Easter eager. Also looks like cockerel. Beautiful chicks! Best wishes.
Thank you. I got so many roos, some are just precious, but sadly I can't keep them. My favorite is a golden neck Old English Game bantam that loves to be held and get affection. My sweetboy, which I named Sweetpea, is the dominant roo, even though there are a few that are larger than him.
