Woohoo! That means it's internally pipped. Very close now, and even more critical that you don't touch- the humidity needs to stay very high so it doesn't shrink wrap. I bet it's out within the next 24-48 hours.

I am having a hard time maintaining the humidity. Any suggestions?

How high are you keeping the humidity? The only way I could keep the levels up on mine was to use a little tupperware type bowl with papertowl draped in and out of it. I placed that near the fan.

Has he externally pipped yet?? I really want to see a video. I am on my first duck hatch, and he should hatch within 4 days. I also have a robin egg in. But it's infertile.

No, nothing external yet... I think I can see the egg move a bit, but I don't know if its my eyes playing tricks on me. Hes on lock down so I can't touch him or anything. We have a video camera set up... so once he hatches I will load the video.
