This is Summer. She was one of my first six chickens that started this whole crazy chicken keeping journey❤️ She was grabbed from an unmarked bin of chipmunk patterned chicks

As she first feathered out she had a funky striped/ laced pattern almost.
Excuse the quality, this was during her 'never stops moving' stage

She has since grown into a beautiful 15 week old reddish colored girl with some black wing and tail feathers and the brightest yellow legs! Her feathers are mostly red with some having a black point (lacing?) Down the center of them. She also has a funky tall in the back short in the front comb (Photos at the end)

People suggested easter egger when she was younger but I have never seen an Easter egger like this.. all of my EEs have beards and are shaped totally different.. If you think she's an EE can you link me to photos of some like her and maybe educate me on why every easter egger I've ever seen looks like my other girls, here's my Jazzy for example:

I love her no matter what she is of course but I so want to solve this mystery! She is from Hoovers Hatchery if that helps.

Whiting True Green? Or Whiting True Blue, or Green Queen, or Lakeshore Egger, or Starlight green egger.
I’ve seen identical ones. They always lay green/blue. One of the hybrids listed above.
Ohh I think I get it now 🤣 It took reading this for it to finally click that the term easter egger is equal to the term Egger. 🙄 Why it took until now to realize that I have no clue. Around me the only birds people call easter eggers are the cute fluffy faced bearded soft featured chickens. I actually totally forgot that I had heard of Green eggers, Olive eggers, Blue eggers and such... Yes thank you! She is likely one of the hybrid eggers. I can't wait for her to finally start laying so I can really sort this out 🤣

Thank you!! 😁 After a quick Google of the ones you listed I am pretty certain she is a Whiting true green! The photos I found show birds with every one of the features I listed from the black tail and wing feathers, black markings in the back feathers and bright yellow legs. I won't have to call her my mystery girl anymore 😁

She looks like a welsummer to me. They are auto sexing, so you have a pullet. Sure looks like my welsummer pullets I have right now.

She looks like my Cinnamon Queen. She is on the left and the other two are easter eggers. Which my Cinnamon Queen looks like my easter eggers except no crest. But I'd say she's one of the hybrid blue or green layers. . The term Easter egger covers pretty much all of them though.
